To her right, a crouching servant, dressed in a black robe and wearing an ample bright blue drapery, washes linen in a large flat basin. Around her, several artisanal objects rest on the geometric mosaic floor, notably a silver ewer, a red earthenware jar, and a gleaming golden bowl. The background reveals a monumental architecture with dark arches from which spectacular vertical sunbeams descend, piercing the misty atmosphere.

The creator’s artisanal genius is expressed in the striking rendering of divine light and the metallic reflections of the vessels. His technical mastery of oil painting allows him to contrast the matte texture of the stones with the carnal softness of the female nude with perfect realism. The harmony of the hues confirms his immense professional expertise.
