The Album by Juan Gris

The famous Spanish-born artist Juan Gris composed the superb cubist still life entitled “The Album”. This creation belongs to his late phase, where the balance of geometric forms achieves a remarkable formal plenitude. By combining writing and musical objects, the painter creates a space for intellectual and aesthetic contemplation. The work reflects his desire to organize elements in a synthetic manner, prioritizing overall visual harmony over realistic illusion.
