A gigantic tree with a robust trunk and luminous silvery bark dominates the right part of the painting, stretching its winding branches across the entire upper space. The soft light illuminates the pale surface of its massive trunk, creating a striking contrast with the darkness of the dense foliage surrounding it. A small ochre dirt path winds to the right of the plant giant, leading the eye toward the wooded depths. On the left, other slender trunks rise toward a deep blue sky, while in the background distant hills appear under a veiled light. The forest floor is scattered with wild grass and touches of terracotta, highlighting the richness of this peaceful undergrowth.

The painter excels in representing natural textures and in the subtle modulation of natural light through the leaves. His mastery of oil painting allows him to create an enchanting spatial depth and to infuse an atmosphere of classical serenity.
