The Moorish Warrior by William Merritt Chase

This magnificent Orientalist scene testifies to the artist Chase William Merritt’s penchant for exoticism and travel in his work titled “The Moorish Warrior”. This painting of great narrative richness is fully in line with the Orientalist movement highly popular in the late nineteenth century.
